Hi there! We’re The Fredriksens—Nichole and Michael.

Hello! We’re The Fredriksens—Nichole and Michael

We’re incredibly grateful for the life we’ve built together: from meeting in photography school to raising our two daughters. As a family, we’re in tune to the moments that matter most, and it’s this love and appreciation for family that fuels our work as photographers.

We love creating portraits that highlight our clients in their element during any season.
We’ve been in the business of professional photography for 20 years with the goal of creating lasting family heirlooms that you' ll be proud to own.

Work with Me

“I find the most beautiful form of art to be anything that shows human connection and emotion.”

My goal during sessions is to capture these key elements and create a storytelling portrait. - Nichole

As a storyteller at heart, I’ve always been drawn to the power of stories over art. It wasn’t until I discovered how light could be used to tell those stories through the lens of my camera that I truly fell in love with the art of photography. Now, every session with a couple, family, or business feels like an opportunity to tell a unique story through images. I focus on the connection, angles, lighting, and colors to create authentic imagery.

I'm known for my attention to detail and creating magical moments through my lens.

Let's work together to create images that truly reflect the essence of you!

At the end of the day, it’s not just about taking a photograph. It’s about capturing who you are in a way that feels real.-Michael

I’ve always been drawn to people — meeting someone new, learning who they are, and uncovering what makes them unique. Photography gives me the chance to do exactly that. Every session is a conversation, an exploration, and an opportunity to bring out the human side of someone in a natural, honest way.

I focus on creating an environment where people feel comfortable and at ease — because that’s when the real moments happen. Whether it’s a subtle expression, a genuine smile, or quiet confidence, those are the details that make an image feel authentic.

People often tell me they’re not comfortable in front of a camera — and that’s exactly where I come in. My goal is to make the process simple, relaxed, and even enjoyable, so you walk away not just with great images, but with an experience that feels effortless.
