Welcome to the world Baby Jack! Shortly after Jack was born hurricane Irene arrived. The Bostrom’s lost power for a couple of days but luckily power was restored just in time for Jack’s in-home studio portrait session! Jack’s big sister Lily just started walking and she was more interested in helping me take photos and play with the lights than posing but we were able to catch her in a few precious photos. Congratulations Kristen and Matt! Here is a sneak peek from our portrait session.
Mike and I have been very busy this month and many of our events have been in Boston. Check out images from a rehearsal dinner we photographed at the Boston Public Library.
They dinner was very intimate and featured beautiful decor and creative cuisine from The Catered Affair.
Many of you have seen our awesome slideshows. Mike and I created a custom slideshow for the mother of the groom. She used the slideshow as a toast to her son. The slideshow featured photos of Logan’s life leading up to when he met the love of his life and we even managed to merge a voice mail Logan left for his mom immediately following his proposal to Lucy! EVERYONE was blown away. Long story short, we now have a projector and screen so the next time you want to create a thoughtful gift or show a sentimental video at a family event CONTACT US. We are now offering video projection and DVD slideshow production.
Mike and I had the honor of photographing the wedding of Emily Emerson and Steve McIntyre in June. Here is a sample of some photos from their wedding held at The Duxbury Bay Maritime School. KUDOS to The Catered Affair for doing an excellent job with the catering and event planning. Emily and Steve were glowing the entire day! Once we finished up the gigantic family portraits Mike and I stole the Bride and Groom for about 8 minutes for mini photo shoot by bay. Thanks for being such an awesome couple to work with!
Hi Everyone, Its been a busy summer and I wanted to post some of our work from the summer and fall season. This photography session was done on Rick and Kathryn’s boat which they wanted to incorporate into the session. The couple spend a lot of time aboard this vessel in the summer months and the area the setting has a special place in their hearts.
“Nichole and Mike Fredriksen took our engagement pictures this summer. The pictures came out wonderful and Nichole and Mike were a pleasure to work with! We wanted the pictures taken on our boat and they were more than willing to accommodate our request. Luckily, Mike has experience driving a boat so him and Nichole drove around the marina in a smaller boat as my fiance and I posed on the bow of our boat! It was such a creative way to take the shots and they came out perfect!” Kathryn Hughes
Here are some of the family portraits we have been working on throughout the summer and from last year. White horse beach is amazing in the fall at sunset and Nichole is starting to book appointments so call soon before its too late! -Mike
